Haridwar, Badrinath and Gangotri Tour Itinerary

Day 1:

Haridwar- Barkot 6 h 20 min (181 km).

Welcome to Do Dham Yatra tour! you will be met representative On arrival. proceed for Sightseeing of Rishikesh, which covers Shivananda Ashram, Ram Jhoola, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, Laxman Jhoola, After lunch proceed to Barkot, via Mussoorie. En-route visit Kempty Fall and enjoy the beauty of Himalayas, later drive straight to Barkot for night stay.

Day 2:

Jhanki Chatti- Yamunotri 17 min (1.5 km) - Syana Chatti 1 h 4 min (17.2 km)

Early morning trek start to Yamunotri and Back to Jhankichatti and then 03 kms trek to Phul Chatti and drive to Syana Chatti. Overnight stay at Syana Chatti. Hanuman Chatti The confluence of Hanuman Ganga and Yamuna River.
Yamunotri Temple Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. Surya Kund There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows into numerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund. Divya Shila A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

Day 3:

Barkot – Uttarkashi - 90kms/4hrs

Morning depart to Uttarkashi, on arrival check in at hotel, later visit famous Kashi Vishwanath temple at Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4:

Uttarkashi – Gangotri 2 h 20 min (99.7 km) – Uttarkashi 2 h 26 min (99.5 km)

Early morning, Drive to Gangotri enroute visit Gangnani. Arr. Gangotri, Check in Hotel. Later visit Gangotri Temple. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 5:

Uttarkashi - Guptakashi (200 Kms / 7 Hrs)

Early morning, Drive to Guptakashi which is at a distance of 200kms After reaching check in Hotel take some rest after that you will visit these devotional places Vishwanath Temple (0.50 kms), Kedarnath Temple (13.00 kms). Overnight stay at Guptakashi.

Day 6:

Guptokashi to Gaurikund and Kedarnath (23.5 km)

Morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund, start your trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (by Pony / Doli / Helicopter at your own cost). Visit Kedarnath Temple. After temple Darshan trek down to Gaurikund. Later, drive bac k to hotel. Overnight stay at Gaurikund.
Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.

Day 7:

Gaurikund to Guptokashi or Sitapur. 1 h 28 min (294 km)

Early morning breakfast drive to Guptakashi or Sitapur, enjoy your journey. After reaching at hotel take rest, Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8:

Guptakashi – Badrinath VIA Chopta (160kms/7hr) Height: 3133 MTS.

Morning after breakfast, drive to Badrinath which will be completed via Chopta. Check in to the hotel arrival in Badrinath. Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal & Aarti in evening. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Day 9:

Badrinath – Joshimath/Pipalkoti (79kms/3hr) HT : 895 MTS.

Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Later drive back to Pipalkoti/Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.

Joshimath is situated on the slopes above the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Of the four 'Maths' established by Adi Shankaracharya, Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath. The idol is brought down to Joshimath and installed in the temple for people to worship. There are many other temples in the township. The most important is the temple of Nir Singh with the idol of Lord Vishnu. The left arm of this deity is getting destroyed with time and the popular belief holds that the day the arm completely withers Badrinath valley will cease to exist and the Gods will transfer the residence into the neighboring Niti Valley at Bhavishya Badri.

Day 10:

Joshimath - Haridwar 9 h 5 min (275.2 km)

After an early breakfast drive to Haridwar ., en-route visit Devprayag the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. Here onwards downstream river is called Ganges, later transfer to Haridwar, on arrival proceed to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of pious river Ganges and join the enchanting evening Aarti at Har-ki-Pauri. Brahma Kund, the spot where the Amrit nectar spilled out of the pitcher, is located at Harki Pauri and is considered to be prime ghat of Haridwar and then overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11:

Departure

After an early breakfast drive on the way to your station tour service ends here. Back to home with happy memories.
